Kosy- oss- kuu 😆😆😆

@nakantar1449 January 20, 2024 at 10:18 am

it would be a dream to live in the mountains in the south island, far from any other people. i live in europe and it's mostly hell on earth

@saumyacow4435 January 20, 2024 at 11:12 am

There are those of us who would dispute the "mild winter" bit. New Zealand is cold in winter in the north and miserably cold in winter in the south. Ok, I live in a warmer climate (near Sydney) but yeah, I've frozen my tits off in NZ.

@literallygrass1328 January 20, 2024 at 12:01 pm

More people live in the green than the blue tho…

@Kameeho January 20, 2024 at 1:46 pm

New zealand is just Upsidedown Norway.

@JaydTheGreat January 20, 2024 at 3:15 pm

0:46 New Zealand casually existing on both sides: 🗿

@gianttigerthots January 20, 2024 at 9:23 pm

i wonder if the silver swan still lives there?

@xc5tnc148 January 21, 2024 at 2:04 am

Its funny how you say about the north islands fertile land whilst majority of agriculture is in the south island

@weirdo7319 January 21, 2024 at 2:48 am

I like how the highlighted bits are more than 20% of the country

@johnwaldmann5222 January 21, 2024 at 3:59 am

Used to be 71 million sheep in the 1970s.

@jules_2.0 January 21, 2024 at 10:26 am

While most international immigrants stay around Auckland or other North Island cities, there has been an increase in new zealanders migrating to the South Island in recent years as it is just more affordable, especially as remote working means you no longer have to go into the office for your office job.

@CaritasGothKaraoke January 21, 2024 at 11:31 am

“Bigger than the United Kingdom” — I think you mean “bigger than Great Britain. If you add in Northern Ireland and other protectorates like the British Virgin Islands, Falklands, and the rest of the full UK, it’s gonna be bigger.

@CaritasGothKaraoke January 21, 2024 at 11:33 am

Real answer: there’s no room for people left what with all the sheep.

@spivvo January 21, 2024 at 3:18 pm

WRONG! The Mauris were NOT first people on the island. There were already people there. Yes they preceded the Brutish but they were NOT the first. Prior to them were a red headed tribe that shares genetic markers with people in Syria.

@katiechilcott2326 January 21, 2024 at 8:34 pm

It's mountainous and so far away, that's why. I'm sure very beautiful and that's why the scenery have been used in epic movies/film.

@astronut3830 January 21, 2024 at 11:27 pm

go vegan

@kaylafisher3610 January 22, 2024 at 1:30 am

We have a lot of fault lines for such a small country also why you cannot live in some areas because it is red zoned,
we're prominent for alot earthquakes to happen and volcanoes that erupt

@robertfoster7807 January 22, 2024 at 1:34 am

Idiots that make these videos why don't they do one on why 100%of the pacific ocean is empty

@tyroneshoemaker5264 January 22, 2024 at 7:43 am

Love in the comments section the lack of empathy towards the original inhabitants of New Zealand.

@pmorph January 22, 2024 at 8:22 pm

This is such bullshit!! you have no idea what you are talking about! Try some other so called 'facts'!

@wolfhors3_660 January 22, 2024 at 9:05 pm

I just wanted to know why no one lives there. TMI bro.

@Aotearoa267 January 22, 2024 at 11:12 pm

AOTEAROA is not an accident. Location, location, location is specific. Maori, calculated and traveled directly, via, navigation through the stars. Modern civilization couldn't believe Maori contained the knowledge, let alone wherewithal, to undertake such a journey. Our tupuna contain the knowledge within their whakapapa. We continue the same path today, to the best of our abilities within this technical and modern world, even though difficult at times.

I lived in NZ for a year. It’s a beautiful country with warm, accepting people. The smaller population density was a good thing for me.

Coming from the U.K. (and I’m sure it’s the same with many other countries). There is a lot of crowding in and around cities. Auckland is like this but everywhere else in the country is not overcrowded. It was wonderful.

@davidboyd8113 January 23, 2024 at 1:36 am

Do you know why the majority of the people in New Zealand live in the North Island because the South Island does like it that way

@spiceweasel945 January 23, 2024 at 3:19 am

The climate in the north half of the Nth Island is actually Oceanic Subtropical (CfB). We grow bananas here in Auckland for example.

@brianforbes3012 January 23, 2024 at 5:03 am

Its because the other 20% are still waiting on Visa's to get into Australia 🙂

@ratatouillepg3135 January 23, 2024 at 6:40 am

The Polynesians didn't stumble across New Zealand (Aotearoa) by chance they saw birds flying there and followed them

@FresioleMollaers January 23, 2024 at 8:25 am

See you next year 💞💞

@cjw7924 January 23, 2024 at 8:29 am

NEW ZEALAND is 80% empty because most of the population are living on the dole in Australia, and only go back home for holidays.

@flamencoprof January 23, 2024 at 12:37 pm

Excellent stuff! Ninety per cent of foreign docos I see about my country are riddled with errors. I am up to 5/23 mins and no bells have gone off yet. I liked the map work. (Mercator has a lot to answer for) I have been to my Antipode in Southern Spain, and have a rock to prove it.
It really brought home to me how low our population density is when I brought myself home after a 25.000 km driving tour of Europe back in 1996, and the drive from the airport to my home kept making me wonder "Gosh, the streets are so empty, where is everyone?".

@johndean8944 January 23, 2024 at 2:59 pm

No take outs.

@geoffsimpson4312 January 23, 2024 at 4:55 pm

Can’t stand the voice over

@kinjunranger140 January 23, 2024 at 6:53 pm

The corrupt government currently in control of America has allowed 2X's as many people into our country since 2021. hahahaha It's a plan to destroy this place.

@Pinkyyybrainn January 23, 2024 at 11:15 pm

Im just imagining Jengas Khan

@user-Rocket-Fest January 24, 2024 at 12:47 am

Empty?? what no trees, no grass, no rivers, no animals, no land?? Really ??
Gotta see that some day.

@rickarddt January 24, 2024 at 4:40 am

New Zealand has similar climate to Johannesburg?? Are you on drugs?

@DivyenduKashyap January 24, 2024 at 6:05 am

"New Zealand has great climate."
"New Zealand has the IDENTICAL climate and rainfall as Britain."

@nukasnook1561 January 24, 2024 at 7:35 am

A group of Polynesians? New Zealand IS part of Polynesia. (The three countries that form the Polynesian triangle are Hawaii, New Zealand and Easter Island 🗿 – NZ being the only Sovereign country of the three) all other countries that fall within the triangle are also Polynesia. Sorry stating the obvious there. 😅

@nukasnook1561 January 24, 2024 at 7:45 am

PS: There are more insects in NZ than people too! Just saying.
