We only have data for the past couple hundred years not even knowing if their instruments were accurate. People are profiting off unknown data and taking things to the extreme when an astroid could strike any day and reset everything anyway. Earth and space will correct everything in time
Well..I find it odd that the obvious heat source might be the sun and no one is taking about it.. It's cyclical…every 11 years up…then down confirmed by satellites….climate has become political….the real scientists know that the main cause of the Earth's warming is from the Sun… Not Co2 levels…this is a Nonsense video… look up the Wilson data…
This ignores the faxct there is also a spike in temperatures on other planets as well. Explain that because this Greenhouse Gas bit as human caused is also false.
Oops you forgot about water vapor as the major greenhouse gas . And oceans take 100s of years to warm
Earth has changed its climate for billions of years before humans where around. Now days you don't know what Scientists to believe as they can be payed to say anything.
Earth hasn't warmed since 1998. Whether there's warming or cooling, human activity has no influence on Earth's changing temperatures. The world's leading solar physicist, Valentina Zharkova, has shown over and over again, that the sun drives Earth's temperature, and says that it is profoundly arrogant to claim that humans are more powerful than the sun.
If the sun vanishes today, then Earth will immediately begin freezing and everything will die, and no amount of electric cars and burping cows will stop the ensuing apocalypse. In other words, the slightest fluctuations on the sun influence Earth's climate.
In other other words, you and I are not to blame for the melting of polar ice.

Some of these comments did not age well. Guess a plus is only HALF of the Great Barrier Reef is bleached (dead) due to climate change. 🤷🏻♂️ And in the past five years the oceans haven’t flooded the world.

The Sun has not been decreasing in activity…it’s solar cycle 25 and it’s been more active than 24. It’s been increasing since the Carrington Event.
Global warming is caused by natural cycles due to solar activity. The more Söl wakes up the hotter it’ll get.

You fail miserably at mentioning the Milankovich Cycle and the historically repeating ice-ages. The Earth has continuously been heating up and cooling off for millions of years and yet somehow humans evolved to where we are today.

Simply answers are for simpletons and individuals who lack any knowledge of science and physics. The idea of climate change is supported by physics which is complicated and there is a huge amount of physics which includes not just meteorology and climatology, but geology, chemistry, geochemistry which is both geology and chemistry, atomic physics, spectroscopy, quantum field theory, oceanography, astrophysics and more. Shifting scales and cherry picking data are for simpletons.
This idea assumes that we don't know what our climate is and the past climate and there is nothing abnormal about today's weather. Scientists know what our past climate is for millions of years and not just 100 years.
"Cutting down the trees make the Earth cooler"… Alright cool down there cowboy. The dense forestation combined with water flow (rain and natural rivers etc) is what cools the earth… And obviously the ices slowly melting and freezing sit was doing… Then it changed because of our pollution but we are in denial like junkies… We are also p*ssies that turn away from truths we are afraid of… We are the white blood cells of earth and we have an auto immune disorder. The reason the earth is heating up and dying is ONLY because of us. Earth was/is in balance – we are NOT…… "Be smart"… More like trying super hard to sound smart.
Of course the science shows that it has been getting warmer over the past 100 years. This is however not "proof" that it is (entirely) caused by humans. CO2 curves correlating to tempereture curves do not "prove" that the increased level of CO2 in the atmosphere is the cause of it. You can also look at a graph showing the growth of telephone lines and mobile phones and it would correlate to the temperature curve. Does that mean phone lines/connections cause the temperature increase? Of course not. You can say
– to the best of our knowledge, CO2 is the likely cause of the temperature increase. But saying that this IS the cause is not scientific.
– it could still be another cause which we don't know yet.
The scientist "consensus" is that CO2 emissions cause the average temperatures to rise, however, there used to be times where the scientific consensus was that the universe is static, then the universe was expanding, then it was oscillating, now its expanding with acceleration…
By saying that a current consensus of "most" (that means not all) scientists means that its the truth and a fact, is simply unscientific and not true.
The climate is very complex, there could be other causes and we should not be so religious about CO2 and let other people say their arguments for other theories. Once there was a guy called Gallilei, he opposed the consensus that planets and the sun go around the earth….. And turns our he was right.

i'm an environmentalist but i don't bite into this whole climate change thing.. if it was a real issue than why didn't they start doing something about the problem back in the 70's/80's/90's when they were going on about the hole in the ozone layer?

The BIGGEST green house gas out there is WATER VAPOR, funny how they didn't mention that. Also the UHI Effect is not considered, when you took temperature measurements at an airport or any location back in the at least first half of the 20th century there was likely no asphalt or much concrete in the vicinity, so comparing temperatures to back then is a joke. They keep having to adjust the adjust of temperatures in the past to as they say, "hide the decline."
While I can completely accept that we are contributing to polluting and corrupting this world with unnatural things, I still say these people who claim to wanna "save the world" with environmentalism and "going green" ste really just wanting to keep the environment stable enough for our survival…Once we have rendered the planet unlivable for us, we'll eventually become extinct or leave the planet and it will live on and repair itself.
You should correct this video, volcanoes release far more CO2 than humans do. CO2 is not visible to the eye and most volcanoes are not above land but UNDERWATER! You learn that in F'in middle school. Humans are responsible for about 4% of the CO2 released on earth. We are not even remotely responsible for climate change. What we ARE responsible for, however, is the pollution of the environment itself ie. the soil, rivers/water, pollutants in the air itself, etc.

Seas release co2 when they get warm and can absorb more gases when cold. Earth wobbles and this changes our weather and sun spots also have effects. Humans can not effect the earth. It is simply too big. Volcanic action is many many times bigger than even 20yrs of human activity of co2 production.
How far has the earth tilted from its axis since 1930 until today? What has happened to the temperature of Venus and Mars over the same period? Has the temperature of those planet’s increased percentage wise as earth has? How do you explain that? Man made climate change evidence is nonsense that is not based in conclusive science.
