France has had its driest July on record. (Last driest was 1959 and this is now broken), joining parts of southern England at this time also experiencing their driest July on record and for others since 1935. (The record-breaking heatwave of July 2022) was partly to the cause of this. Plus a map of Europe heat at this time.
