Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded to questions on Wednesday concerning the construction of the new Canada Water Agency office, to be situated in Manitoba. Trudeau said water ecology and health are a top priority for the country and the prairies are perfect for research and management of water.
βToday I can announce that one of the first priorities of the agency will be to update the Canada Water Act, the threats and realities facing our environment have changed since it was written in 1970,β Trudeau said in his remarks.
Taking questions from reporters, Trudeau also reiterated his support for special rapporteur David Johnstonβs recommendation against a public inquiry into allegations of foreign election interference, accusing Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre of βchoosing to sit behind a veil of ignorance.β
βI think Canadians have to ask themselves the question, is that a serious leader? Is that a serious way to handle something as important as foreign countries trying to mess with our democracy, with our businesses, with our diaspora communities on an issue like this?β Trudeau asked.

You can build a filtration system for your house that will take out almost anything for $1500 using parts found in most local hardware stores. I use one myself for my off-grid house. Complaining about having unsafe water in this country is just people being stupid and lazy. Should you have access to clean water, absolutely. Should you rely in the government to provide it when they literally know nothing and can't do the simplest part of their jobs right? Of course not. If your health and the health of your family and community is on the line, figure it out yourself and fix it. Stop being whiny children. The government isn't you parents, and you're not a toddler. I get so tired of people complaining in this country because big daddy government isn't giving them what they want.
