I was in new Jersey taking a vacation and spending time with family. around 6:00 to 12:00 we had a lot of rain, A LOT of wind. it looked like the trees could of snap off any minute. My grandma had everything on camera! Lol
3:42 i have had WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY worst than that. i was woken up by this huge unexpected storm at 2AM and all i could here is the rain bashing my window and the wind roaring, it was truely horrifying, the lightning was bright enough to light the whole field and its color was purple.
Oh the ignorance is strong in this video. So many warning signs, yet thus guy refuses to even pay attention to them. Ignorance is Bliss! Yes I know how old this video is, and yet it only goes to show, some people refuse to believe what is right in front of them even when all arrows point to danger!
What is it about TORNADO WARNING people just don’t get? It doesn’t mean, head over to your windows now. Or, go outside and check out the sky. It means TORNADO ON THE GROUND. Seek immediate shelter. It means, a tornado might hit your home/structure any moment.
“I don’t…see a tornado, so…” – No sh*t. That “EXTREME” weather warning wouldn’t have been very useful if they sent it to you as the tornado hit you. So dumb. 🙄
When it comes to tornadoes at night you usually can't see them, but you can definitely hear them. They have a very distinct sound. You can hear it pass by right around the time the visibility started to go. At 4:50 It sounds like a lot of rain/wind outside the building but that is the tornado.

ever been in the eyewall of a strong category 5 hurricane at peak intensity
It's interesting to me to see how people react to things like this when they are not used to it. The Midwest definitely has some awesome storms.
Its funny i guess i stay at cheap hotels because in 57 years ive NEVER had a minibar
Just get radarscope. That way you don't have to wait for the moron to announce it over the PA system 3 hours later.
I LOVE severe thunderstorms like this!

4:45 oh my god is bigger home O_O and storm!
If that's the worse that you have ever seen if you visit Utah you might think that we are at war!
No tornado it could just be outflow winds from a severe thunderstorm or worse case scenario rfd winds raping around a producing tornado.
That must of been a nightmare ha? I’ve went to Minnesota many times for work and I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with the storms in Minnesota.

4:13 I have experienced flickering power aswell
4:44 that is so loud

“ I don’t see a tornado?”
I cannot believe this guy fr
So it’s not just a fire alarm it’s an emergency alarm interesting
Looks like you went through the Rear Flank Downdraft (RFD). They're known for their furious nature.
I hope you were ok
No clouds and flashing lights with a tornado warning should make your stomach drop. That might mean you are in the absolute worst spot.
If electricity is flickering and you have a tornado warning that means it is close enough to you to be effecting your power. Get to safety.

Fun Fact: You posted that video October 25th in Australia which was the day before my father's 50th birthday
Oh crap. TORNADO? OR THUNDERSTORM?
Just for the record, you generally can't see tornadoes very easily especially at night

This is literally every weekend during spring in northern Texas
I would just put on my headphones and not think of outside
Severe Thunderstorms are Thunderstorms that produce winds of >57.5 mph >Quarter Size Hail >1.00 inches or a tornado
