Boring weather keeps the climate change talk at bay. Its not like we haven't had an ice age or two in the history of the Earth. Who's to say that we aren't due for another similar event? Why do they all have to exist millions of years ago? Boring to me means normal and normal means less chance of someone getting hurt in a weather related incident.
Yesterday it was 101 degrees in Arizona! I wish it was cold.

I'll be riding my scooter in the cold after awhile its not bad then I'll be riding in snow flakes i could go 30 but why the other cars go 50 on the 30 road so i go 40 but then slow it down because i know there's deer in those weeds i don't wanna hit one

I'm actually kind of glad that we're getting colder weather here in Alabama. Unable to move and I hate the heat when it's normally all year round.. even most of winters are pretty warm and humid and I can't stand it

Sadly, our dear brother Ryan misses the key point driving our increasingly turbulent weather: global heating powering ever stronger Low Pressure systems, which pull up warm moist air from the South and, in passing, drive down cold Arctic air from the North after passing East. These systems are powered by the enormous amount of heat we are mindlessly releasing into the atmosphere/ice/oceans/land by burning fossil fuels. Want evidence? We are melting 1.2 TRILLION TONS of ice a year and just ONE gram absorbs 344 BTUs of heat energy in melting into water, which can only hold 1/80th as much heat, and yet is driving 79% of sea level rise. When all the ice is gone (77-110 yrs.), we become Venus 2.0.
In Michigan it sucks. It has never been hot for more than a day all summer. I think we had a week, spread out with a day here a day there. I wait all winter for the sun to return and winter to GO AWAY. This time of year I know it’s hopeless. The second summer in a row to be cloudy, cool, rainy and yukkie. It’s been cold at night which means swimming/water sports will not be any fun because the air is cool and the water cold. I would love a couple of months of hot, dry, sunny weather…
