Sham is a local legend in his hometown of Killarney in Ireland. Colm Flynn from Ireland’s TODAY Show was visiting the town and popped into one of the local pubs to have a chat with Sham. What do you think he’s saying!?

2:43 NOTHING is better then Craig Ferguson‘s late late show.
My grandpa is from County Lietrum and I remember him watching it when it was on.
He got me into that, M*A*S*H, and John Wayne.
Youtube's subtitles are not working – come on Youtube!
He reminds me of father jack
i thought i was able to understand irish accents in the first part of the video but after he said “nice to meet you” i thought he was speaking another language
Interviewer: "Well you're doing great for 71!"
Me: No he isn't
First thing that came to my mind when this man started talking was that russian cursive meme
The reason you can't understand him, is because you haven't transcended as a human yet.
You must evolve…I guess
Idk.
I think this is the clearest Irish accent: an unintelligible drunk
Anyone else notice his Guinness is halfway finished?
Colm, the most irish name ever haha love it ! I couldn't understand a world and im irish lol
That just sounds like Irish language

I swear he was trolling and just speaking Irish Gaelic at the first part of the interview
and now I'm grateful for the people who invented teletext/subtitles
He literally reminds me of my grandfather especially hard to understand lol

I’ve been around people with all sorts of accents from all over the world this areas Irish accent has got to be the hardest version of English (by english I mean how everyone speaks it all over the world) accent to understand I’m usually golden and can understand anyone but I’d be lost wit this guy
How is he understanding him?
He sounds like Doodle-Bob
These guys are the same age. That's country living for you.
Sounds like drunk Peter's Irish dad
Jack Hackett lives 😀😀
There’s a difference between a strong accent and alcoholism. Especially when you’re missing teeth. Seems like a nice guy, blessed with good liver genes.

When i speak to my 1 year old nephew and he says: "Gugu gaga!" I understand more.

Thomas Pierce, Can I ask you where you're from? Cause you said Lads and I've seen a cartoon film about Scottish people and they said lad for boy and lass ( I think) for girl….
This is where accent meets speech impediment
