Prior to covid the hottest recorded temperature in the UK was 35.2 degrees. It has risen by an astounding 5 degrees to 40.2C in just 4 years, and every single year since covid has given us temperatures higher than the previous highest recorded temperature. I would also like to point out that this highest temperature ever was on a freak day on 1990 some 33 years ago and outside of that one day, the second highest recorded temperature was 32.9 degrees. Peak temperature is a solid EIGHT POINT 3 DEGREES warmer than just 4 years ago.
You can see just in the weather patterns alone just how much the climate has shifted radically in just those few years alone, the UK is entering into a climate of monsoon summers which is absurd for a country that has never experienced summer with many days over 25 degrees. Our society is not built to cope with the heat or the humidity that comes with such rises in temperature, and the short term fixes that we use to try to curb our ever sweltering living conditions are notorious for contributing seriously towards greenhouse gas emissions themselves this exacerbating the problem we try to fix even further.
While it is very apparent that climate change has come home to roost even at home, it is nothing compared to entire countries that will be underwater if global temperature rise by another degree. It is almost definitely too late to save the inevitable slide into disaster we have set course on, melting ice sheets mean rising water levels and less heat reflection from the surface causing more melting. We are doomed to a 3 degree world, and we should be so lucky if it stops there before trying to right itself back to equilibrium.
Russian trolls want climate change because everyone else will burn and they'll live up until they're last bit of cold lasts.
Ask them this! If all the climate change evidence was true and it proves humanity did this and can stop it, would people care??? Do you think 60+ year olds care about 50 from now?? They don't they care about ANYTHING but squeezing the last smallest bit out of this existence as that they can. They won't do anything to inconvenience themselves or hurt their business interests.
Climate change is a natural occurrence and its something that has always happened. It's not something that happened because of human existence. Global warming that is another story, there is a difference. But you need to remember, where some places get warmer other are getting colder because that's how climate change works
I am 50 and have seen every prediction of global warming not come true. It has made me worry about this a lot less.
We might as get ready for it because it is absolutely going to happen. I imagine it will happen far sooner than humans ever thought possible….look at the increase in temperatures now; there was an older lady whom said they thought these problems would be their grandchildren’s problems. Just shows how people just are not ready for the environment problems we created.
Please tell me how I can win at a casino. Since you can predict the future , please tell me.
You have turned into garbage.
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF EARTH HAS BEEN 76 DEGREES FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS IT IS CURRENTLY 56 DEGREES. CO2 AVERAGE IS 4,500 PPM IT IS CURRENTLY 400. ONLY A SERIAL IDIOT BELIEVES THEY CAN CONTROL THE WEATHER. THE ECONOMIST IS APPARENTLY A CLIMATE EXPERT. THIS IS A B S VIDEO DESIGNED TO GET VIEWS. GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE.
The governments of the world have taken no serious action in regards to CO2 pollution. But has subsidized oil extraction. So the chance we will avoid 3 degrees Celsius rise is zero.
Oh I’m so scared!!!!!
Cool- 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Oh No – A country like Bangladesh has increased its population 5x in my lifetime. So sad the planet can’t take it.
0:40: 🌍 Global warming of 3°C would have catastrophic effects on the world.
3:26: 🌍 There is a significant chance of global temperature rising by 3°C, which would have severe consequences for cities and the world.
6:41: 🌍 Climate change is leading to poverty, migration, and droughts in Central America.
10:31: 🌡️ Climate change is causing extreme heat in urban areas, making it deadly for those living in slums.
13:10: 🌍 Climate change could lead to increased migration to cities and competition for resources, potentially causing conflicts.

I dont understand how global warming mean drought AND heavy rain
Time to eradicate the human virus
En cierto modo, me tranquiliza que en algún momento las grandes ciudades también las van a pagar. Espero que comiencen a ser más conscientes cuando eso ocurra.
+3 degrees celsius = +5.4 degrees fahrenheit
So yeah. Lead by example.
joe biden needs to get rid of that gas guzzling pollution dumping GASOLINE powered Corvette he keeps showing off.
What else can the elitists give up to slow global warming? Any ideas? Anyone?
BTW.
The worlds Nuclear weapons nations have tested about 2100 nuclear weapons around the world since 1945. Realize that these are the nations complaining about Global warming. Some of those weapons were set off high above the earth in the upper atmosphere and some were set off underground, under water, or on islands out in the oceans, and a couple were set off above populated cities. A couple of Nuclear power plants have suffered catastrophic meltdowns. So the question is, how much damage has been done to this worlds global temperatures LONG TERM as a result of these tests? What role has all of these tests played into the Global warming effects that we are being told is caused by our use of oil products? Products that are used to make so many other products that we all use everyday. When you set off nuclear blasts at the edge of space with no clue what the consequences of those actions might be, then you really can't predict or know what amount of LONG TERM damage is yet to come from those decisions.
How many ships are sitting at the bottom of the worlds oceans slowly leaking their cargo onto the unsuspecting and very delicate ecosystems of the oceans? How many ships have been deliberately sank in the oceans due to war among nations? What efforts have been taken to recover those ships leaking and polluting cargo? Conservatively a thousand shipping containers fall from ships decks every year due to storms and other problems. Guess where those loaded containers end up? Oil based products make up an estimated 6000 products that we use everyday. Look it up. The problems that we are facing can not be solved by governments and globalists who blame us for using the products that THEY got rich making. Products that THEY will continue to enjoy long after THEY take away our way of life. Protecting the earth has to be done in a peaceful give and take way that's shared by everyone, but this will never happen if war mongering, control freak, greedy politicians and their elitist donors are running the show. Something needs to change in how governments perceive the people they were elected to Serve.
Got to throw B.S card.
😢😢😢😢 this is scary
Oh mon Dieu, qu’allons nous devenir ? 😨
Si le Monsieur pouvait raser sa barbe en partie haute ce serait bien…😊👍
Easy, Chicken Little.
let's not go to a 3 degree world, if you have a voice please use it
Global warming hysteria is a scam.
And yet the biggest polluters ( India, China) are exempt from the new green deal. Unless they do something, there is no point in the USA or EU worrying about it!!
This is the result of capitalism
there is proof that we are coming out of an ice age. what happens when we come out of an ice age? the earth gradually warms up!!
The temperature in my pants is heating up.
Capitalism is, by definition, the representation of human's race extinction.
It is going to happen.

after we fix the climate lets try for making the days longer
I came back to this video because….
I feel like summer will be the only season, in the next few years to come.
Right now, it's October but Arizona is still experiencing 90 degree F weather. It's so frustrating.
I hate heat! so I really hope this climate change issue will be resolved.
The worst place, not mention here ; is RPC, where huge quantities of carbo is being use.
GOODDAY EVERYONE,
**You Can Achieve a lot with simple Measures.
If the Water Supply Companies in all Tropical Countries are recommended or required to distribute cooler Water to Consumers from now on, for example 15 °C. The pipe network will automatically become cooler and therefore The Environment. As a second measure, large buildings, roads and squares could be automatically sprayed 3 times a day from 11 a.m. with the same water at 15 °C. (Without hindering Aesthetics and the Safety of the City)
Even the water of Egypt's great Artificial River could be kept at 15°C.
Sincerely YOURS,
LUV YOU !
Humans are killing this earth and its other species. We are the worse species to ever exists. The best thing for this earth and all other living things is if humans go extinct. For the sake of this world, I pray it happens.
hi :)))
2 Degrees are unavoidable already, meaning the end of biodiversity.
What a load of garbage
