Good morning, Mitch! Janesville, Wi. checking in. Tornado die Ren went off on the south side of town at 3:15 pm. Thunder, lightening and rain but no hail on the east side, where we live. Tornado siren again at 4:30 pm. Rain with some thunder/lightening activity through the night.
I watched a lived storm chaser in northern Illinois to know what might be coming. My husband and I closed our shop an hour early to be home when things got going. Thanks for all you do!

The weather is so weird quite heavy rain overnight. Looks like winter is over in Ontario.

Brother, if you arenβt careful, the Weather Channel is gonna be knocking on your door. Jim Cantore better watch out man. Nobody does a better job of not only predicting the weather, but explaining that prediction in a way thatβs easy for everyone to understand. Keep on doing what youβre doing. Best in the business!!!!

Hey mitch, I would be greatfull if you and or your subs could say a prayer for me and my son? It's kinda personal and would prefer to not say as to keep his personal life exactly that, but prayers are needed in hopes the lord will help him and me get through this fairly difficult time in his/my life. I'm a single father with full custody of to boys for 8 years now with not much help to speak of! It would mean a lot to me if you guys could do that for us please?!
Please pray for my hubby who is driving from FL to NY. His brother died suddenly while in rehab for a knee replacement. So happy we were able to spend Thanksgiving with them last year. ππ»β€οΈππ»

Good morning Mitch and weather friends, 37 degrees and foggy in West Halifax Vt. It is offically mud season the dirt roads are mud pits good luck out there to all!
total misery for the catskills and poconos. raining mid-40s and major melting. the whole northeast is a disaster this week. i have plans to go up on thursday and saturday, at this point i'm checking in to see if its possible to dodge the rain on those days. if vermont gets pow this weekend i may have to take a day-trip up there early next week.

Hey Mitch, I had several rounds of tstorms late and early this morning. Small spin ups east of the Quad Cities and near Rockford, didn't hear any damage, Chicago news had a few large hail reports up to egg size. I heard a scary report out of Marengo IL. Where a transformer was hit by lightning and a family heard a loud boom and found a large hole in their basement wall where the electricity traveled to. We had some awsome booms of thunder here and was pretty cool as I love my non severe tstorms. Off and on rain here all week where I am SE of Boston. We need it to fill up the groundwater tables because we got less than a foot of snow.

Blackberries will be blooming here in central Louisiana in the next few days starting tomorrow I think because the white petal tips are showing in the buds. Some flowers and fruit trees are already blooming too. I planted two rows of carrots 6 days ago and they`re coming up already and my fig tree is putting out leaves. We`ve had a lot of rain here so far and my radishes, beets, onions, spinach, turnips, collards, mustard greens and other vegetables and seedlings are looking healthy. I`m still scared to put all my new fruit trees in the ground in case we get another freak freeze. I have a giant tarp to cover at least some of the blackberries if we do.
Just now watching this. Had to take My 1 year old Grandson with My Daighter in law to Peyton Manning Hospital for a Consultation for Surgery. Thank You for you weather reporting!
