In an incredible first, astronomers have discovered what lies at the core of Mars. It turns out, the Red Planet isn’t as lifeless as we once thought. Mars wasn’t always a dusty, barren world. There’s plenty of evidence that the planet was warm, had lakes of liquid water, and was habitable for a short period in its history. Astronomers had always wanted to know the reason behind this transition, and for that, they had to know what lies at the core of Mars. When the InSight lander started studying the planet’s interior, it discovered that the planet is still rumbling with seismic activity. Now, following a rigorous half-decade mission, InSight has granted scientists a clear vision of the Martian core.
So, how does Mars’ core differ from Earth’s? What methods did InSight employ to unveil the core of the Red Planet? Finally, and most importantly, what does it tell us about the future of our planet?

Long story short, no humans will ever colonize mars. not possible.
Less density invites to drill and develop projects underneath the surface; used energy/heat and oxygen wouldn't leave 'out of grip' this fast.
A protective layer against i.e. sunbeams not necessarily needs to be ozon and doesn't have to be placed miles away from the surface… i assume some heavy gases later even fit better to feed plants and create pressure. Only harvest wouldn't be this comfortable at first xD
Sounds like 'down under'; to make an ocean on top one day…hydrogen from underneath, oxygen from plants on the surface.

I've always believed that an ancient civilization was inhabited on Mars but I didn't think it was still full of resources, if so it would be a new planet on which to make new scientific and astronomical discoveries.

What does happen if I drill a hole inside a solid spheric structure (a planet), create an empty sphere at the bottom of the drillhole, put a super-light metallic ball inside whose movement only requires the spin of the spheric structure, cover the drillhole or wait until it is covered, and spin the spheric structure fast enough for hundreds of years.. ? Will there develop poles and would this spheric structure attract/absorb 'spacedust' ? ( Can this be simulated ? )

The overall darkening of Mars’ surface in recent decades has significantly raised the Red Planet’s temperature, a possible cause for the substantial shrinkage of the planet’s southern ice cap, observed in the past few years.
The brightness of an object is characterized by its albedo, the percentage of light that’s reflected from its surface. Because dark objects in general absorb more solar radiation and get hotter than light ones do, albedo changes on Earth in arctic regions may be playing a part in climate change
Viking orbiters, which circled Mars in the late 1970s, measured the planet’s albedo at latitudes up to about 60° in both hemispheres, says Paul E. Geissler, a planetary geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Flagstaff, Ariz. However, data gathered in 1999 and 2000 by another probe, the Mars Global Surveyor, reveal that albedo for much of that area has changed, he notes.
As much as one-third of the Martian landscape had either darkened or lightened by 10 percent or more between the two sets of observations. Many scientists presume that winds blow light-colored dust from one part of the planet to another, exposing the darker rocks beneath, Geissler notes. On balance, the planet grew darker between the late 1970s and the turn of the millennium.

There is a fundamental difference between "alive" and "active." Mars is not alive. It is somewhat active. Earth is not alive. It is active, very active, and it has life living on it. But that life has nothing to do with earthquakes or volcanoes or climate, etc. That is inanimate activty.
