Early 50s Giants Redskins game at Griffith Stadium. There was rain two days before and rain predicted again, so the field was covered. Then the temperature dropped and the tarp froze to the field and then snow fell on top it. It was impossible to remove the tarp so the game was played on top of the snow-covered tarp.

I remember practice in 2006 and it rained so hard and it was literal mud. We ran our usual practice but at some point everyone said fuck it. Even the coach’s were sliding in the mud with us. That is what I love about football. In that hour window, nothing fucking mattered. We just had fun. The parents were not happy when it came to go home. Luckily living in Georgia, we all piled up in the back of a pickup truck and were drove home. I had to undress naked in the backyard and rinsed before I got let into the house. Uniform and everything. So much mud in those pads lol. The memories. 🥺

Missing the Snow Bowl game from 1985 Packers vs Buccaneers. Snowed so much that fans couldn't even get to the stadium and had to use tractors to get there at Lambeau.
