Spring was very dry and very cold youg seedlings grew then died of the cold the còld continued till may and early june. The forest fires in France transfered the heat plyme across the channel to britain
The correct thing to say is britains Summer was hottest yet. The whole year has not been hot.

I lived in the UK once and moved out in 2021. Within the time I lived in the UK, I never have ever seen a red heat warming in the UK
