Edinburgh has been lovely this April, where else would you like to see us explore?

april was pretty funny, never seen the sun set from over the other side of the world, 10/10 would watch the sun with a handful of sakura again

Yay! More videos! Honestly your videos have been life saving in the last year, I was so gutted having to move back from Prague because of work last year and come back home to Edinburgh, that it’s been amazing being able to watch a czechy czech person who loves it here exploring and finding all this stuff! Don’t get me wrong, I love my home city but it’s nice to see it through new eyes once in a while! If I ever see you out on the town I owe you and Simon a pint! 😜

I love bounty bars. What's wrong with other Brits?

Looks so pretty, and busy—look at that line for Mary’s Milk Bar. Oh I am interested in those pagan/Christian traditions! That and folklore, love both topics. Almost ordered that Inky the Octopus but the shipping wasn’t worth it.

I was 2 years ago in Edinburg in August. Came from Barcelona. It was between 12-15 degrees. It was so cold😅 I didn’t have anything with long sleeves.

I just came back from Edinburgh in April. Favourite things: trees and plants starting to blossom, occasionally having days where you could sit outside and have a coffee.

Next year, though, I think I'll come later in the year.

Thanks for another wonderful video about Edinburgh! My husband and I are visiting in June. Can you recommend the best places for live trad music in the Edinburgh or Leith area? We've been to Sandy Bell's in the past and really enjoyed it. Also, can you recommend the best quiz night pubs? We're staying in Canonmills, but we will venture across the city for a good quiz! Lastly, Id be happy to bring you any US products as a gift! Let me know if you want anything. We live in Colorado so if you have anything Colorado specific I can easily get you that too. I'm a huge fan and would love to bring you some things! x

But how will it be three weeks from now, when we'll be there?

Pro-tip is to avoid using the railways over bank holidays because of the weird UK wide tradition of them closing for maintenance works (especially the long four day ones) they still sell tickets but you find yourself on the dreaded replacement bus service that takes twice as long.

Heja. Anything fun going on in May? Looking for some tips 😉

Very glad you mentioned Trad Festival, writing as a bagpiper 🙂 I was in Scotland for the first time at the end of April and beginning of May and was able to attend Beltaine festival. It was great event. MUST SEE!

Awesome video. I just left Edinburgh on April 30th visiting from USA. The cherry blossoms were beautiful along with all the spring blooms. The weather was more cooperative than expected too. My son & I used our feet and public transport the whole 10 days. Muscles were quite sore but worth every step and hill we climbed 😂 Can’t wait to do it again…..

It's nice to almost follow in real time the changes of the city. Almost. Immediately I was 'oh it must be getting nicer there' when I saw you were outside, heh. I'm interested in seeing what May – July is like as around that time next is when I plan to, gulp, move there.

Worth a look are the Lauriston Castle Gardens in Davidson Mains. They have a Japanese garden. Buss ride away on the 26 or 29.

I have been in Edinburgh and all around since April 27. Beltane was an absolute blast! Heading down to Glasgow for a few days and back to Edinburgh for one last afternoon/evening before departing back to the states. I hope to make it down to Dean’s Village for a walk before I leave. Edinburgh has stolen my heart.

Nice video. I'm little more than a week away from my first Scotland visit, starting in Edinburgh.
