Moist over the warm tropical ocean rises causes a low pressure area. Surrounding air pushes into this lower pressure area; thus, this air warms and rises. As this warm air rises, it cools forming clouds and rain. Because of the Coriolis force this whole system of air, cloud, rain and wind begin spinning and growing.

As a Filipino, My family has survived Typhoon Odette (Typhoon Rai) on December 2021. In the storm I remembered glass shattering. It was horrifying when we had to move to another room feeling and hearing the trees and winds destroying our house slowly. My dog needed to hide under the stairs while our Chickens needed to be barricaded with heavy things to prevent them from flying away. The last place where we needed to stay was in my Parents room in the wardrobe. When the storm was over, we slowly walked to our rooms and decided to sleep. A few hours later I checked my dog if he was ok, and he was. In the morning we saw the Aftermath of our home, and even our neighborhood's houses were destroyed. We survived living a life without electricity for 2 months, and the Philippines stays strong ever since.
