FYI Aleph Null is the term for the cardinality (size) of the set of all integers. Its is essentially the first (smallest) level of infinity as determined by Gregor Cantor.
Less nonsense will be released (that isn’t from Hasbro). With all the games being released and competing with older tittles I’m expecting less games that you’d rate below a 6.
Aleph Null and Marvel Untied Multiverse are exciting. I love the aesthetic and theme of Aleph Null, I'm a sucker for anything with witchcraft, demons, etc. I think I saw IronHeart and Spiderman 2099 in the pic on the Kickstarter page. Multiverse will be the first Kickstarter I've backed in over a year, fingers crossed for Alligator Loki.
CMON has crazy shipping costs on those comics, if you buy them, buy them in groups to save on shipping.
The predictions segment was really good. The three of you have great chemistry. I didn’t get Frosthaven and I’ll probably wait for the digital version but I think it will make the top 100. Or Endless Winter and Heat will. Personally I hope Wayfarers of the South Tigris does since that’s my favorite game this year

Hitting the top 1 is difficult with bgg. The amount of votes in the high end required is insane. Maybe 50-100 would be a safer bet for 2022 games and for a new game to top Gloomhaven is near impossible unless they are given more than a year to accumulate

Zee is likely right on his legal one. Warehouse 13 expansion is running into HUGE issues with commitment and updates.
I’m predicting – hoping actually – that more games will come with standees and offer minis as an add-on. And hoping hoping hoping for regular sized boxes!
I’m still waiting for someone to basically do Batman Arkham Horror The Board Game.
Hearthstone was released in 2014 and still hasn't received any physical version, so I doubt Marvel Snap will get one either because of the same reason: Both games have mechanics that would be too hard to do physically, for example cards and locations that multiply/add or copy cards, you would need several if not dozens of copies of EACH card for them to work and the ones that have random effects would be impossible to adapt. It would also be a mess to track all the value changes constantly occurring with cards gaining and losing power or costs, sometimes that's doubled or multiplied, and it's not only cards in play but also in your hand and even in the deck, how would you keep track of that? The amount of upkeep would be insane. The point is, even though they are supposed to be card games in reality they can only work in digital form.
I feel like Solo fluxx would have been really great if it had been released 2 years ago.

I believe Tom is right about Frosthaven. Regardless of whether it’s good or not, it should have already broken top 2000 by now, if not the top 1000. A decent amount of people on BGG predicted Oathsworn would be in the top 10 by the end of 2022, yet here we are, not even in the top 100. A lot of predictions tend to be wishful thinking, and that’s completely fine.
Predicting that Le Havre will get a deluxe version, much in the style of Castles of Burgundy. 🤞
If wonderlands war is at 212 then it’s been climbing pretty steadily. It barely hit 400 in mid October. And wonderlands war is set to be released in summer so I think it will break top 100 once more people get their hands on it

Frosthaven will be at least top 5 this time next year. A Tommy Boy guarantee for sure.
Heat will for sure hit the top 100.
As a solo gamer, I would love to agree with Mike's solo game prediction but I don't think that is going to happen. I agree it is part of the hobby now, no longer just a tiny nich; but there is still too much backlash at solo gamers, for solo modes in games and things like that.

IDK I think one of Endless winter, Heat, Wayfarers of the South Tigris, and Wonderlands war will hit the top 100 but who knows maybe not

My prediction is Ark Nova will hit #1 this year. The expansion will give it a bump.
I think there's too many games coming out now to have one big blockbuster. Also, society now is becoming so divided that I don't know if people will want to play the same game any more.
My predictions:
1. CMON continues to have a bad year. Marvel United 3 gets a lower number of backers than 2.
2. Kids versions of popular games will continue to come out.
3. A Japanese designer wins the Spiel or a similar award.
I honestly think a huge part of the appeal of Gloomhaven/Frosthaven is that theres no minis for the monsters.
If we're doing wishful thinking reprints, I'm gonna say Cinque Terre and Spheres of Influence will get reprinted. Lol
