With the addition of 21 transfers via the transfer portal, the Auburn Tigers will sport a new team with guys like Payton Thorne, Jyaire Shorter, Shane Hooks, and Rivaldo Fairweather will all look to be the faces of the roster during the first year under Hugh Freeze.

Bro, some people just wanna be negative. Without hugh freeze I truly believe we were headed to 3-9 or 4-8 under potato man. Auburn fans are so traumatized they can't get exited or even hopeful. 8-5 looks VERY reasonable now which is an unreal turnaround.

Good show fellas. Im with you 100%. So many ppl are concerned with STARS, but you can have STARS that dont fit what you're trying to do which will equal no production. We are finally seeing a AU head coach put his head together with his coordinators and staff and target players that actually fits what each unit is trying to do at Auburn. And we dont have to downplay our players. If they adapt and execute then some of them will actually emerge as stars.

You guys are putting way too much into who played with what group in spring. The coaches rotated everyone.
Why does our returning TE room get disrespected so much? Fromm, Deal and Frazier have all been great examples of what it means to be an Auburn Tiger. I get they haven't done anything too crazy but they are all solid options who are great blockers and have even made important catches when given the opportunity. Now whenever the room gets mentioned Fairweather (who mind you is still unproven at the SEC level) gets talked about like he's the best thing since sliced bread and everyone else gets treated like they're bums off the street.

I don’t think there’s a deal with cam brown. There aren’t any players on this roster outside of the running back and secondary who have made big plays in an auburn uniform. Yes they went and got 3-4 more dudes at receiver but that doesn’t mean they will all pan out and be successful. There’s a possibility that only 1 or 2 of those guys play. You go get a bunch of dudes who you think can play but nobody will know until September or later. I don’t think all of the transfers will play and have a significant role.

I think we will finish the regular season 8-4 or 9-3 plus a bowl win.
Every player is a 1 year contract. Players are more replaceable than ever. I can't get excited about unknowns. But I think the out transfers have been replaced by better upside guys. The AUWishbone said something good, not sure where they got it, but the amount of played snaps is huge from the transfers coming in. So it's been good overall. I agree Mba and the other guy I'm not gonna try and spell off the top of my head, losses, but just seems like the scheme could make up for that.

If they didnt make the cut at North Texas then why here? If they weren't used there..if they werent needed by a A1 school to begin with then why now here?
Im not saying they cant be good…just saying if you made an NFL team like this ..well it wouldnt work.
If you get better by adding better players then lets get some players from western Kentucky and beg for eastern carolina qbs
