If you liked FordvFerrari you will love Rush, a 2013 movie about Niki Lauda and James Hunt rivalry in the 70's f1 era. Imo it's even better than FvF
For the Senna crash if I remember a spring from the car pierced his helmet at just the right angle and that was what killed him thatβs why the said that nothing else was wrong
You should check out like dramatic moments of the 2020 and 2021 or 2022 season or crashes from those season no deaths cause this video just brings sadness
Moto sports are dangerous and not for the faint of heart. There was one crash that ended Group B in Rally. Better off seeing for yourself.
And Isle Of Man! Dude crashed, broke his spine, recovered and raced the track again.
π΅Tell Laura I love her
Tell Laura I need herπ΅
Crazy thing about grojean's fiery crash, there is a another footage of him dangling out the side of the car while it was still on fire.
Ironically, Ascari lost his life a few weekslater at a Private test at Monza
you also have to think methanol fuel was used although you can see some flames all it takes is a spark and if you catch it on your clothing you can not see the flames and breathing the fuel in your lungs will also burn your lungs and and no flames in sight but yet it is one of the safest fuel to use.
The difference between this reaction and the NASCAR reaction video is that the NASCAR video you guys watched was non fatal. This video majority had fatality which is why it makes it worse. Both sports are safer than ever and itβs a blessing to not have dark weekends nearly the same rate as back then.
Btw if you guys want non fatal f1 crashes then I highly suggest checking out f1 crashes from 2001-2021 its really good π
More f1 reactions plz
The cage around their head is called a halo and it can hold a double decker bus on its own it has protected the drivers like in the first clip the drivers head wouldve been scraping along the floor but the halo saved him. And in the interview with romain grosean he said he thought to himself and said this is where i die but then he remembered his famiy were watching him icluding his kids and he said no i cannot die today my kids are watching! now he drives in indycar.
Fun fact: nikki lauda is actually the late mentor and close friend of sir Lewis hamilton who persuaded him to leave mclaren and join Mercedesβ whereβs heβd eventually win 6 more world titles
THERE WILL BE A FORMULA 1 RACE SUNDAY YOU ALL WERE TALKING ABOUT IT SO THERE'S ONE SUNDAY AND THE INDIANAPOLIS 500 ALSO IS SUNDAY IF YOU CARE TO WATCH π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯ππππππππππππππππ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ποΈπποΈποΈπποΈ
watching this as as person who has no clue about an f1 car (not offensive), it seems like this cars are very unsafe, this was true in the past, but nowdays f1 cars are very likely to be the safest cars you can drive (including road and racecars). Theyre driver-safty-cell is unbeliveble strong and in todays f1, almost every very hard crash results in not a singel injury, if a driver gets injured today, its just something little like a bruise.
I was watching the Japan race live when Jules Bianchi passed it to me was the most freskish accident i ever saw..
Please react to more modern F1 videos with no deaths. A good starting video would be "F1 explained for rookies".
you should watch Would the Halo have prevented historic F1 driver fatalities by Peter Brook
Senna's death the last one on this video) was caused by a few things. The right front wheel was torn off and and hit him in the head with enough force to fracture his skull, and two pieces of the suspension penetrated his helmet and visor, cutting major arteries. Anyone of this injuries would have been fatal on their own.
Watch the movie rush β€
Niki Lauda's story is mind-blowing. The movie Rush with Chris Hemsworth, Olivia Wilde and Daniel BrΓΌhl is a fair representation of the story. A Ron Howard's movie.
Formula 1 has gotten exponentially safer over the years, as the 60's, 70's, and 80's were very bloody. Racing is intrinsically dangerous.
The most horrific part of that video is after they talked about all of the crashes that ended in deaths, the video just hard cuts to happily asking "Did you enjoy this video?". Just showing how factory like they make these videos.
Hey y'all, I've really enjoyed watching your recent venture into auto racing. There are so many great racing categories but since this is F1 i highly…HIGHLY suggest watching "Rush". There are quite a few good movies on racing & this one is based on the true story of Nikki Lauda & James Hunt. Remarkable in its accuracy & cinematography. (Like you stated "Ford vs Ferrari" is great as well, this is along the same category)
