Before heading to Japan for the G7 Summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a surprise stop in Saudi Arabia, where he addressed leaders at the Arab League Summit. Turning to the wildfires in Canada, more than 10,000 people are still out of their homes in Alberta and beyond tonight, as nearly 100 fires burn. But, there’s hope on the horizon as more crews from the Yukon and U.S. are expected to arrive in the coming days to help the fight. Plus, it’s Disney versus DeSantis. Just days before Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to launch his presidential campaign, Disney has backed out of plans to build a $1-billion corporate campus in his state. This is the latest outburst in a long-running feud between the corporation and the Republican governor, linked to DeSantis’s anti-LGBTQ2+ policies. As Jackson Proskow explains, Disney’s decision could do real damage to the governor’s brand at a crucial time.

Virtue signaling doesn't win wars. Canada has 80 leopard tanks which it will never use, but supplied a total of eight tanks to Ukraine. It could have supplied 4 times that amount. Token donations to Ukrainian will not win the war.

Ukrainians are sacrificing their lives for their own demise. One-third of the property in Ukraine is owned by a single external organization that does not earn much in rent from Ukrainians. With victory that will change. Residents will be manipulated into placing a halt on the use of land employing a variety of spurious pretexts that contain an element of truth sufficient to provoke the desired reaction that is ultimately detrimental to their fate. Home prices will rise beyond reach. Rents will skyrocket and absorb the lifetime earnings of residents. The bottom twenty percent will die homeless on the street.
Half of the population has fled and will not return. Those that remain are not child bearing and will vanish by attrition. Lured by an impossible dream, the population will be replenished through immigration. The country will function like one gigantic enterprise that shunts all of the earnings of residents directly into the pockets of the chosen few that without effort become rich beyond belief. Towns acquire an outward appearance of prosperity while residents own nothing. The little trickster set up Ukraine in order to empty it off its native people and will retire to his mansion in Florida having succeeded in a quest that failed Hitler.
Highly fertile soil. Pasture. Dairy farming. Endless fields of sunflowers. Beekeeping. Villages without walls. Armies of the nations of the world gather at its border to do battle. Priesthood of various denominations endlessly dispute theology except for one matter on which they are all of one accord: The Biblical land of milk and honey refers to a sliver of arid sand.
